Answers to common questions about using Posty.
How do I know my post is published?
For video uploads, you will get a notificaton in the TikTok app to tell you your post is ready and you can continue the editing flow.
How do I disconnect my TikTok account?
To disconnect Posty from TikTok, open the TikTok mobile app, go to your account Settings → Security & Permissions, and revoke Posty’s access.
How do I remove all my data?
Send an email to our admin team at admin@postysocials.com with your registered email address, and we’ll permanently remove your account and all associated data.
My scheduled post did not work
If a post fails, it will be retried with exception of it being blocked by 'prompt content moderation'. In this event you will be notified via email.
How do I delete a submission?
Submissions can’t be deleted immediately. Instead, disable them from your dashboard. Disabled submissions are automatically deleted after 30 days.
What happens if my TikTok access token expires?
Posty will attempt to refresh your token automatically. If that fails, you may be prompted to log back into TikTok from your dashboard to re-enable posting.
Can I change the time or frequency of my scheduled posts?
Submissions can only be disabled/enabled. If you need to change the scheduled time or frequency, please create a new submission with the desired settings and disable the old one.
Are there limits on uploads?
Each file must be under 5MB. You can upload up to 5 submissions per day, each with multiple images or one video.
Do I need to keep my browser open for posts to work?
No — once your submission is uploaded, Posty schedules it server-side. Posts go live automatically, even if you’re offline.
